Miley Cyrus dazzled at the world premiere of the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” held in Los Angeles on Monday, March 23.
The event transformed into a nostalgic reunion as the original cast joined her on the red carpet, delighting fans who have long anticipated this gathering.
Cyrus’ fellow cast members Jason Earles (Jackson Stewart), Shanica Knowles (Amber Addison), Anna Maria Perez de Tagle (Ashley Dewitt), Cody Linley (Jake Ryan), and Moisés Arias (Rico) were all present to celebrate the anniversary special.
Notably absent was Emily Osment, known for her role as Lilly, Cyrus’ best friend.
In an Instagram post, Osment shared that her absence was due to her commitments to another project.
“And that’s why I was not able to be a part of the 20-year reunion because we are here shooting our show,” she stated in her video.
In her caption, she reflected on how “Hannah Montana” significantly impacted her life, noting that she still encounters fans who watched the show in their youth and now share it with their own children.
For the premiere, Cyrus made a statement in a striking metallic dress layered with a graphic Hannah Montana t-shirt.
The signature blonde wig, synonymous with her character, completed her look.
She was joined on the red carpet by her fiancé Maxx Morando, her mother Tish Cyrus, and sister Brandi Cyrus.
The event also attracted other celebrities, including Jaden and Willow Smith, Dominic Purcell, Jojo Siwa, Avery Cyrus, and the host of the show, Alex Cooper.
Filled with nostalgia, the special promises to showcase beloved songs from the series and never-before-seen archival clips.
Additionally, it will include appearances by Cyrus’ parents, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Filmed in front of a live audience, the special is set to premiere on March 24 and will be available for streaming on both Disney+ and Hulu.
