The video made its debut on Nasty C’s official YouTube channel and was later launched on Apple Music, providing a renewed boost across various platforms.

First released on the collaborative project Confuse The Enemy (Reloaded) in late 2024, “One Time” merges Nasty C’s smooth rap style with Tiwa Savage’s enchanting vocals, complemented by Lekaa Beats’ polished production. This track is part of the reloaded edition of the EP, available on Apple Music under Exodus Records, scheduled for a November 22, 2024 release.

This new visual encapsulates the song’s laid-back, celebratory atmosphere, showcasing the dynamic among the artists through a stylish, performance-focused presentation that encourages repeated viewing. Musically, “One Time” resides in the Afrobeats genre, blending Tiwa Savage’s soothing choruses with Nasty C’s agile lines while Lekaa Beats maintains the infectious rhythm. The video reinforces this sophistication, highlighting the collaborators’ synergy and allowing the track’s rich arrangement to shine.

In addition to featuring three prominent artists, this release reflects a broader trend in the African music scene over the past two years: seamless collaborations that weave together rap, Afrobeats, and R&B without losing the essence of each genre. Nasty C and Lekaa Beats have crafted the Confuse The Enemy series based on this concept, and “One Time” exemplifies that vision with notable star presence and impressive replay potential.
