Ntsiki Mazwai Appeals for Support Following DJ Euphonik Court Setback

Ntsiki Mazwai calls on her supporters for assistance in settling DJ Euphonik’s court costs

Vocal poet Ntsiki Mazwai has reached out to her fans for help after she was ordered to cover legal expenses following a defamation lawsuit against DJ Euphonik.

According to reports, she must pay approximately R200,000 in legal fees, a burden she states she cannot manage alone.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Mazwai posted a heartfelt video on her X (previously Twitter) account, appealing for donations.

Additionally, she reminded her followers that her birthday is approaching, lightheartedly requesting that her “gifts” take the form of contributions to her legal costs.

“Good morning. It’s my birthday on 3 September. May I start collecting blessings 🙏🏿❤️ Thank you to everyone in the DMs for the endless support. To the big sisters who send me money to get massages to make me feel better, I appreciate you so much,” she wrote in the caption.

In her video, Mazwai discussed how the court proceedings have impacted her and invited anyone willing to help to send funds directly to her.

“You saw my business being splattered in the streets. I’m going to put my e-mail address on here. Anybody who wants to donate to the legal bills, I’m going to put my e-mail address there,” she explained.

She assured her audience that all donations would be forwarded to DJ Euphonik’s legal team and even provided an option for individuals to receive their banking information to pay the lawyers directly.

“I promise to pass over that money to those lawyers. Otherwise, you can email me, I can give you their banking details, and then you send me the proof of payment, and we keep it moving, guys. It doesn’t have to be the end of the world. We’re gonna pay bit by bit and continue living our life, continue building the MOYA podcast,” Mazwai stated.

Later, she confirmed that she received her first donation and expressed her gratitude to her supporters for their unwavering assistance during this challenging time.

Good morning….its my birthday on 3 September….may I start collecting blessings🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️thank you to everyone in the DMs for the endless support.
