Media figure Pabi Moloi has announced her exit from Power 98.7, signaling the conclusion of her time at the talk radio station.
Moloi, who began hosting the Power 98.7 weekday lunchtime show in June 2023, took to social media on Monday to reveal her resignation with a brief message.
“Hi friends. I resigned from Power FM last month. I look forward to this new chapter,” she posted.
Although she did not provide specific reasons for her departure or details about her future plans, her expanding portfolio of new projects indicates a bustling time ahead beyond the airwaves.
In July, Moloi took on the role of host for season 11 of SABC3’s reality show The Insurance Apprentice.
This series showcases young professionals in the insurance sector through various challenges and interviews.
“Hosting The Insurance Apprentice is an exciting and rewarding experience,” said Moloi.
“Each episode gives me the chance to engage dynamic young professionals shaping the future of insurance. I’m inspired by their resilience and drive.”
A Family Affair: Podcasting with Her Brother
Earlier this year, Moloi also ventured into the podcasting arena.
In January 2025, she and her brother Khabane Moloi introduced “A Brother and A Sister”, a podcast characterized by open sibling dialogues, cultural insights, and reflections on contemporary life.
