Cubique DJ shares update about his stolen car
South African music producer Cubique DJ is grieving the loss of his car, which was taken during the Scorpion Kings Live concert at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.
On his X (formerly Twitter) account, he announced that the tracking company had pinpointed the location of his vehicle in Soweto, but unfortunately, it had been stripped down.
Expressing his discontent, he wrote: “Update, tracker found it in Soweto stripped.”
In spite of this unfortunate event, Cubique DJ managed to commend Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa for delivering what many audience members called one of the standout performances of the year.
Fans were quick to respond to his post, providing him with messages of support and positivity.
One individual remarked: “At least the show was 10/10. Insurance will take care of the car.”
Another noted: “Not only was the show 10/10… You are about to get a new car.”
Many others felt relief that he was not in the vicinity when the car was taken.
A concerned follower commented: “Hade mate, just glad you weren’t there when they took it, that’s another trauma I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”
While some people were curious about how vehicle tracking systems function, others shared their apprehensions regarding attending large events in South Africa due to previous occurrences.
One user proposed a different approach: “I suggest finding a home not so far from the stadium, ask them to park, and maybe buy a cold drink. Then use Uber to the actual stadium, cause Mzansi.”
