Antoine Semenyo has expressed his desire to pursue significant achievements at Manchester City, despite the club’s current absence from the UEFA Champions League, a detail confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via his x handle.
The forward recently played a key role in City’s 4–0 triumph over Liverpool FC in the FA Cup quarter-finals, contributing a skillful lob to extend the lead to 3–0. Erling Haaland put on a standout performance, scoring a hat-trick in the match.
Semenyo commented:
That’s why I signed for Man City, I want to be competing for all trophies. It’s unfortunate we’re not in the UCL but at least we’ve got the Premier League and FA Cup to compete for. Hopefully we win.

Earlier this month, Softfootball reported that City claimed a trophy by defeating Arsenal FC 2–0 in the Carabao Cup Final, with Nico O’Reilly scoring both goals to help the club secure its ninth League Cup title.
With domestic tournaments ongoing, Manchester City is concentrating on concluding the season on a high note and adding further trophies to their collection.
