  • Shebeshxt was seen walking free just days after an alleged shooting incident
  • Reports suggest that the Limpopo rapper was involved in a road rage clash that led to him allegedly shooting another driver. However, online users were shocked to see him at a popular nightclub
  • Social media users weighed in on Shebeshxt’s scandal, questioning whether it was factual or not

The sight of rapper Shebeshxt leisurely enjoying a drink at a nightclub came as a surprise to many, following recent accusations of shooting another individual.

The artist, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, gained significant media attention after allegedly shooting a motorist during a road rage incident in Limpopo on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.

Briefly News reports that Chauke was taken into custody on the same day and subsequently handed over to the Westernburg Police Station by his attorneys on Thursday, 23 October.

A post by TheAudioLabSA on 27 October revealed the rapper at the Propaganda nightclub in Pretoria.

In a video, Shebeshxt is seen with a bottle of cognac in one hand and a microphone in the other as security personnel guide him to the stage.

This appearance followed his release from jail while the Westernburg Police Station’s murder and robbery unit investigates the case. His alleged victim is currently reported to be in critical condition in the ICU.

Sources indicate that Shebeshxt had stopped at a garage following a dispute with the unnamed driver, who then pursued him before the shooting occurred. A case of attempted murder has reportedly been filed.

This incident adds to a list of controversies surrounding Shebeshxt, including previous allegations of assault and an incident that resulted in the death of his daughter.

As the news unfolded, social media users shared their thoughts on the rapper’s latest trouble, with mixed opinions on whether he should face legal consequences.

Supporters of the rapper countered that the allegations were exaggerated.

Randy_katekani commented:

“Don’t take everything you read on the internet as fact.”

Mosconator97 noted:

“They try by all means to bring him down with propaganda.”

Youngkay606 echoed a similar sentiment:

“Fake news. Shebe was not arrested; these pages just hate this guy.”

xap_authi defended Shebeshxt:

“Like him or not, he’s going nowhere. You just like to believe the negative things you read about this guy on the net, and that time, there’s no proof to the things they’re saying about him”
