Sizwe Dhlomo Vows to Exclude Controversial Artists from Kaya FM Programming
Media personality and radio host Sizwe Dhlomo has stated unequivocally that two musicians will not feature on his Kaya FM playlist: Shebeshxt and R. Kelly.
The SizTheWorld presenter, who hosts the breakfast show from 6 to 9 AM on weekdays, expressed his views following inquiries from social media users regarding his musical selections.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, a user on X (formerly known as Twitter) questioned why Dhlomo excludes R. Kelly’s music, referencing a prior tweet in which Prince Kaybee praised the contentious artist. Dhlomo responded directly, saying, “We don’t play R. Kelly.”
His brief reply reflected a broader industry consensus against the American singer, who has faced significant backlash and removal from numerous station playlists globally due to his sexual abuse convictions.
