Tebogo G Mashego criticizes DJ Karri for documenting his airport rescue
Tebogo G Mashego has expressed discontent towards artist DJ Karri, stating he exploited his predicament for content creation.
The musician known for Biri Marung criticized Karri for recording him while he was assisted back home after being stranded in Nigeria.
“What DJ Karri did by bringing cameras to the airport is not right. He was using such a serious matter to promote his reality shows,” Mashego said.
He acknowledged Karri’s help but emphasized that the filming was inappropriate.
“He really helped me come home, but you can’t come with cameras; this issue was serious. But it’s fine, Chairman, we’ll talk it out in person.”
Mashego’s outspoken comments add to earlier critiques directed at DJ Maphorisa and Sony Music, alleging that they are withholding royalties from Biri Marung.
