“Your understanding, compassion and prayers mean a great deal to us as we find strength and comfort in one another.”
Londiwe’s sister, Lethukuthula Nene, shared with Sunday World that the family is still trying to comprehend her unexpected death.
“I don’t even know what to say or where to begin,” she said, mentioning that her sister’s death was entirely unforeseen.
Lethukuthula added that the family believes Londiwe may have taken her own life.
“She drank poison. That is what it seems like. But we will get all the details on time from professionals. But it was poison; she drank poison,” she explained.
She noted that Londiwe had not displayed any signs of distress or unhappiness prior to the event.
“We really don’t know why she did this. Everything was okay, well, we thought,” she said.
