Tshego has made the transition from music production to podcasting by joining the Podcast and Chill Network as a co-host on the new show, All The Smoke.
In this new role, he collaborates with Luthando “BU” Mthembu, with episodes airing every Friday at 20:00.
Described as a platform for candid discussions, All The Smoke tackles relevant topics, pop culture conversations, and day-to-day issues in a manner that reflects the frank approach established by the network, which was created by Mac G and co-hosted by Sol Phenduka.
For Tshego, this venture signifies more than just a supplementary project; it represents a significant personal evolution.
“I feel excited about it. I am always about new challenges,” he explained.
“I once said I would never do a reality show, but now I have done one. Since then, I have been rethinking everything I ever said I would never do.”
The artist acknowledged that the timing of this opportunity was paramount.
As he progresses in his career, his openness to new experiences has broadened. When the podcast invitation came, it resonated with where he currently stands in life.
“This is one of those things I would never have done if it was not my own. When I got the call, it was exactly what I needed for where I am in life right now,” he stated.
With a successful track record in chart-topping music and a notable impact on the South African hip-hop scene, Tshego realizes that moving into the realm of bold commentary brings its share of challenges.
“I am ready for the new challenge. I am ready for the hate, I am ready for the love. We just keep doing what we do.”
