Just days before the anticipated release of her upcoming album Am I The Drama, Cardi B confirmed in a viral post on September 15, 2025, the artists participating in the project, which notably includes South African artist Tyla.
This collaboration marks a first between the two musicians, and their mutual admiration, as well as Cardi’s consistent support for Tyla, appear to have paved the way for this exciting partnership.
Previously, the Bodak Yellow artist has publicly condemned the cyberbullying incidents aimed at Tyla, most recently in response to the critiques surrounding the singer’s latest album We Wanna Party.
As part of the collaboration announcement, the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, shared a promotional cover for the album, listing others included in the “drama.”

Megan Thee Stallion also features on the project, appearing on their song WAP, which launched in August 2020. Additionally, the iconic singer and actress Janet Jackson returns to music with her first feature in several years.
In the lead-up to the album’s release on September 19, the American rapper conducted a marketing campaign that included selling physical copies on the streets and engaging with her fans.
