Dineo Ranaka and Kenny Kunene’s past cozy moment has made a comeback on social media
Metro FM host Dineo Ranaka became the talk of the internet over the weekend after an old video featuring her kissing politician Kenny Kunene re-emerged online.
This footage, which was posted on X on Sunday, August 17, 2025, by the well-known user @AdvBarryRoux, quickly gained traction with the caption: “History has no blank pages👀.”
The clip, recorded years back on the now-defunct eTV music program Club 808, features Ranaka humorously kissing Kunene while co-presenting with MoFlava.
After the initial kiss, she jokingly says, “Peace in the land,” as Kunene awkwardly leans in for another kiss.
Viewers were taken aback by the clip, and responses flooded in on social media.
One user, @zeefu_apx, remarked: “They never quit pursuing the luxurious life. Politics is just a means to achieve that!”
Another, @Kika97740658, reflected on Kunene’s extravagant lifestyle: “Sushi King [Kenny Kunene] lived the dream life. Let’s not kid ourselves😂. He introduced the slay queen lifestyle 😂😂. I recall he had 6 girlfriends all under one roof😭😭.”
Others communicated their shock more succinctly.
@BringoA simply stated: “I was led astray,” while @KTania07 playfully noted: “Floyd was doing this just to showcase his dressing style. He isn’t a club person.”
