Nota drags Sol Phenduka after being scammed<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nota Baloyi, a former music executive, has ignited a fresh controversy on social media, directing accusations at broadcaster and podcaster Sol Phenduka.<\/p>\n

On 22 September, Nota took to Twitter to assert that Sol had scammed him after receiving a booking fee but failing to fulfill his obligations.<\/p>\n

Nota claimed he paid Sol R15,000 in advance in May 2022 to host an event he was organizing.<\/p>\n

While Sol did show up, Nota asserted that he \u201cflatly refused to do the hosting job.\u201d<\/p>\n

To back his allegations, Nota posted a screenshot of an FNB payment made on 27 May 2022, expressing frustration over the situation as Sol never offered any form of apology.<\/p>\n

\u201cBooked Sol to host a gig & he showed up because I paid the full fee upfront, but flatly refused to do the HOSTING JOB. I took it on the chin, but he never apologised for scamming me. They always act innocent!\u201d Nota wrote.<\/p>\n

In response to the allegations, Sol, who hosts the Podcast and Chill, appeared to take the situation lightly, replying with a witty remark.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has the receipts. He must open a case. Criminality isn\u2019t good. Criminals should be behind bars, not out here podcasting and tweeting amongst us,\u201d Sol stated.<\/p>\n

As the news circulated, social media users quickly chimed in with humorous comments, with some suggesting a \u201ccommission of enquiry\u201d to investigate the claims.<\/p>\n

One user joked, \u201c@Solphendukaa, we need a commission to verify these allegations, my guy, and @ChrisExcel102 would be the chairman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another user remarked, \u201cI\u2019m willing to do a commission of enquiry for both of y\u2019all. I want to get to the bottom of this issue.\u201d<\/p>\n
