Emerging artist Tebogo Mashego, celebrated for his song Biri Marung<\/i>, has been taken into custody according to reports.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Mashego was in the news when he requested R23 million from Scorpion Kings and publicly criticized DJ Maphorisa.<\/p>\n

This week, the Biri Marung<\/i> star also gained traction online after sharing that he was stranded in Nigeria and sought donations.<\/p>\n

Celebrity blog Maphepha Ndaba posted a video on its Instagram account<\/a> concerning Tebogo Mashego’s alleged detention on September 24, 2025.<\/p>\n

“Just In: @tebogogmashego arrested! Details of his arrest are still sketchy,” said the blog.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
