The Big Hash opens up about nearly quitting rap<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

South African rapper The Big Hash has sparked concern among fans after discussing his difficulties within the music industry.<\/p>\n

On X (formerly known as Twitter), he shared that he is contemplating stepping back from music entirely.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll be very honest, I\u2019m THIS close to giving up on music fr. \u201d he wrote, eliciting a strong response from the online community.<\/p>\n

The rapper, known for achieving fame at a young age, reflected on his experiences and the hurdles he has encountered throughout his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople forget I came into this industry young, but I been at this shit for so long. I\u2019ve seen so many people and eras pass me by. I saw a comment this morning under my new song on YouTube that had me think deep. Bro said I\u2019m talented but guys like me won\u2019t get rich. Did he lie?\u201d<\/p>\n

Hash acknowledged past errors in his career, admitting that his early arrogance possibly alienated some supporters.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was super arrogant & big-headed when I was younger. Maybe that last part is still true (in a literal sense lol), any good will I had with people who supported me from the beginning, I messed up. I owe y\u2019all an apology. Coz no matter how many dope records I make, niggas sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

He emphasized his willingness to accept responsibility for his past decisions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did that to myself. Fair enough. There were other things that were out of my control that got in the way too but I won\u2019t mention those, this is me taking accountability for my own actions, not of those who hurt me. Don\u2019t get me wrong, I wake up every day fighting for my dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

In closing, Hash shared a thoughtful message for his fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut that\u2019s the thing right\u2026are these all just dreams? Maybe it wasn\u2019t meant for me. Maybe it is. Who knows? I\u2019ll leave that part to y\u2019all. I\u2019ll drop the tape because I owe it to every single one of the people who\u2019ve been with me through everything. Then we\u2019ll see what happens. ❤️\u201d<\/p>\n

His candid remarks prompted a wave of encouragement from his supporters, urging him to persevere.<\/p>\n

One individual commented: \u201cIf you are really passionate about your craft, you won\u2019t. Rome wasn\u2019t built in one day, be patient.\u201d<\/p>\n
