Barcelona is facing a significant challenge with two key players injured just before a critical set of matches in La Liga and the Champions League, Softfootball reports. This situation adds to the worries for Hansi Flick, who is still dealing with the recent absence of Gavi, who has been ruled out for weeks, as noted in an article on Softfootball.<\/p>\n

The club has announced that Brazilian winger Raphinha and starting goalkeeper Joan Garc\u00eda will miss essential matches.<\/p>\n

The situation deteriorated on Friday when Garc\u00eda sustained an injury during a training session. Tests confirmed he requires arthroscopy, which will keep him out for four to six weeks.<\/p>\n

Fabrizio Romano provided updates via his official X handle<\/a>, reporting that Garc\u00eda will be unavailable for three to four weeks.<\/p>\n

He stated:<\/p>\n

Joan Garc\u00eda will be out for 4-6 weeks to undergo arthroscopy. Bar\u00e7a goalkeeper will miss PSG game.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Romano also mentioned on his official X handle<\/a> that Raphinha will also be sidelined for an extended period due to injury.<\/p>\n

He remarked:<\/p>\n

Raphinha will be out for three weeks with new injury suffered yesterday. He\u2019s gonna miss Barcelona-PSG game.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to Softfootball, Raphinha has incurred a hamstring injury in his right leg during training, which will prevent him from participating for around three weeks. He featured in Barca\u2019s 3-1 comeback win over Oviedo last Thursday but managed only 65 minutes on the field.<\/p>\n

The absence of Raphinha and Garc\u00eda will affect Barcelona’s upcoming La Liga fixtures against Real Sociedad and Sevilla, along with a pivotal Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n

In light of this, Marcus Rashford, who has recently shown impressive form, after scoring a brace against Newcastle, is expected to fill in on the left side and bolster Barcelona’s attacking options.<\/p>\n

Hansi Flick’s first challenge in this difficult phase will come against Real Sociedad next Sunday at the Johan Cruijff Stadium.<\/p><\/div>\n
