Mikel Arteta held a milestone as he reached 300 matches as Arsenal’s head coach, leading the team to a 2-0 victory over West Ham United in the London Derby, as reported by Softfootball.<\/p>\n

In midfield, Arteta included Rice, Martin Odegaard, and Eberechi Eze, although Odegaard had to leave the pitch due to injury. This marked the third consecutive Premier League home match where he was substituted in the first half.<\/p>\n

Martin Zubimendi operated in the number six role with Rice moving forward to link up with Eze and Saka.<\/p>\n

West Ham defended resolutely as Arsenal controlled the game, creating numerous chances until Rice netted the opener. This goal marked the first of the season for the England player.<\/p>\n

The home side secured the win in the second half when Jurrien Timber was fouled by El Hadji Malick Diouf, allowing Saka to convert a penalty to extend the scoreline to 2-0.<\/p>\n

Significantly, this match also marked Saka’s 200th appearance in the Premier League, where he has achieved 55 goals and 45 assists. He will head into the international break in strong form, alongside Declan Rice.<\/p><\/div>\n
