In a conversation with DJ Fresh on the WAW What A Week podcast dated January 31, 2025, Holworthy provided insights into how the public became aware that Chicco is indeed her father.<\/p>\n

The speculation ignited following the sharing of images from her son Leano Laone\u2019s Christening, which Chicco attended.<\/p>\n

An otherwise ordinary photograph of them together quickly led to rampant speculation online, with dialogues around whether they were uncle and niece, cousins, or perhaps romantically linked.<\/p>\n

Despite being married, Lamiez anticipated the potential for misunderstanding. She recounted a time they spent in Melrose, an upscale area in Johannesburg, where onlookers cast suspicious glances at them.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad gets calls, \u2018Hi, we\u2019d like to confirm whether or not you\u2019re having an affair with DJ Lamiez.\u2019 We were spotted in Melrose, just the two of us, and I said to him, \u2018Papa, the way these people are looking at us, they\u2019ll assume that we\u2019re dating.\u2019 But he dismissed me.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the rumors intensified, people began reaching out to her mother to verify the claims.<\/p>\n
