Late rapper AKA<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Charges have been brought against seven individuals related to the murder of rapper Kiernan \u201cAKA<\/a>\u201d Forbes and businessman Tebello \u201cTibz\u201d Motsoane. These individuals have been moved to the high-security eBongweni Correctional Centre located in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n

Sources indicate that this transfer occurred quietly early in the year, with all seven suspects being moved from the Westville prison in Durban.<\/p>\n

The relocation was said to have been initiated at the State’s request. However, the authorities have not disclosed the specific reasons for this move.<\/p>\n

The tragic murders of Forbes and Motsoane in February 2023 sent shockwaves throughout the nation and garnered international media coverage.<\/p>\n

Approximately one year later, following a detailed investigation into this prominent case, the arrests of the suspects were made.<\/p>\n

eBongweni prison is acknowledged as one of South Africa’s most fortified correctional institutions, featuring sophisticated surveillance and security measures.<\/p>\n

This facility is typically designated for those deemed highly dangerous or involved in significant criminal activities, which underscores the seriousness of the ongoing court proceedings.<\/p>\n
