The family of the late South African musician Sinesipho Peter, known as Bravo Le Roux<\/a>, has officially confirmed the circumstances surrounding his death in correspondence with the government of South Africa.<\/p>\n

Bravo Le Roux<\/a> died in Switzerland on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the young age of 30.<\/p>\n

A statement regarding his death was issued the following day on his Instagram account, causing significant distress within the local music scene and for his fans nationwide.<\/p>\n

In the wake of this tragedy, many citizens of South Africa have come together to support the artist’s family by contributing funds for the repatriation of his remains.<\/p>\n

Sabrina Peter, who is also known as DJ Sab, initiated a GoFundMe campaign after reports indicated that the family was encountering funeral and repatriation costs estimated at R500,000.<\/p>\n
