Radio host and podcaster Sol Phenduka has denied allegations of animosity towards music executive Nota Baloyi, especially amid fresh discussions about their complicated relationship.This topic resurfaced following an episode of the Podcast and Chill<\/em> Network\u2019s Reshuffle Round Table, which aired on 27 February 2026, introducing a \u201cnew era\u201d line-up featuring Nota.<\/p>\n

Audience members noted the perceived tension between Phenduka and Baloyi, igniting discussions on social media platforms.<\/p>\n

A user on X, SIYA_VS, pointedly questioned Sol, stating: \u201c@Solphendukaa, you hate Nota, neh? Like, everything you said, even after the \u2018We cool\u2019 chat, just showed that you despise the guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Sol quickly refuted this notion. \u201cNo man, I don\u2019t hate Nota,\u201d he said simply.<\/p>\n

During the roundtable, some of the discussion appeared to revolve around their individual connections to seasoned broadcaster Sizwe Dhlomo.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere became competitive as both individuals asserted their closer ties with Dhlomo.<\/p>\n

Sol proposed to call Sizwe to clarify specific points about Kaya 959, referring to him as \u201chis boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nota countered, asserting, \u201cHe\u2019s not \u2018your boy,\u2019 he\u2019s my boy,\u201d claiming his relationship with Dhlomo began in high school and is more profound than a mere professional link.<\/p>\n

Sol then challenged the authenticity of Nota\u2019s claim about their friendship.<\/p>\n
