South African artist Naledi Aphiwe<\/a> has spoken out regarding reports suggesting that she forfeited a significant brand endorsement after making contentious comments about her former partner\u2019s current girlfriend.<\/p>\n

The singer garnered attention online following accusations that her collaboration with the candy brand Stumbo fell through soon after she made remarks on social media about singer Mawelele and his new partner.<\/p>\n

On the Music Pulse podcast<\/em>, it was claimed that the endorsement was valued at nearly R5 million and would have featured Naledi prominently in a series of advertisements.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe had a deal that was worth just under R5 million with Stumbo, and she lost it because she made comments about Mawelele\u2019s new girlfriend,\u201d Thakgi stated during the podcast.<\/p>\n

The rumors spread rapidly on social media, with many users criticizing the singer and implying that her words may have cost her this valuable opportunity.<\/p>\n

After several days of silence, Naledi addressed the allegations concerning the ruined deal.<\/p>\n

In a candid statement, she claimed that specific individuals are intentionally attempting to hinder her career.<\/p>\n
