The South African DJ Black Coffee, a Grammy winner, has drawn the admiration of fans after recent images indicated considerable improvement in his long-term physical rehabilitation.Nkosinathi Maphumulo, known professionally as Black Coffee, appeared to be using both arms with greater ease in photographs shared from his birthday festivities.<\/p>\n

His longtime partner, model Victoria Gonzalez, posted snapshots from the DJ’s birthday weekend on her social media accounts.<\/p>\n

One notable image was a mirror selfie captured in an elevator prior to a post-party celebration.<\/p>\n

Though their fashionable outfits received praise, it was Black Coffee\u2019s stance that truly captured attention.<\/p>\n

The photo depicted the couple posing once more in the elevator, with the DJ holding a drink in his right hand and resting his left arm on Gonzalez\u2019s lower back.<\/p>\n

This moment was particularly impactful for fans, as the acclaimed DJ has frequently kept his left arm hidden in his pocket at public appearances and performances.<\/p>\n

Despite being discreet about his physiotherapy journey, the latest images imply noteworthy advancements in his recovery process.<\/p>\n

Black Coffee has dealt with a brachial plexus injury since 1990.<\/p>\n

At that time, he was a teenager celebrating the release of South Africa’s former president Nelson Mandela when a tragic incident altered his life.<\/p>\n

During the festivities in Mthatha, the taxi he was riding in collided with a group of people, resulting in multiple injuries and one fatality.<\/p>\n

This accident caused significant nerve damage in his left shoulder, leading to permanent paralysis of that arm.<\/p>\n
