\u201cI went to a rally in KZN, and I criticised him about AKA\u2019s murder,\u201d Malema stated. \u201cI said, \u2018Mkhwanazi, our favourite provincial commissioner. I love him so much. But I\u2019m beginning to have doubts because he\u2019s not making a move on AKA\u2019s case.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The leader of the EFF characterized the incident as a national embarrassment, highlighting how a prominent figure was shot \u201cin front of a camera\u201d while justice seems to be delayed.<\/p>\n
His statements, he contended, led to a follow-up from the commissioner, who sought the meeting via an intermediary.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe sensitive Mkhwanazi didn\u2019t take that criticism. He called Khan and asked for a meeting with me,\u201d Malema elaborated.<\/p>\n
\u201cKhan called me and said, \u2018There\u2019s this guy who is asking to see you.\u2019 Mkhwanazi accompanied by Khan then provided me with an overview of AKA\u2019s case.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said the guys are arrested, but they are not arrested because of AKA\u2019s case; they are arrested because of something else,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust at the tail end of finishing the evidence on AKA\u2019s matter, then I\u2019m going to charge them with AKA\u2019s matter. But I would not reveal it because if I reveal it, Bheki Cele is going to tamper with this evidence and mess up this case.\u201d<\/p>\n
