This statement follows shortly after Kelvin Momo failed to show at the Mamalisa event in Polokwane, much to the dismay of fans and event organizers.<\/p>\n

At that time, the DJ’s team issued a statement explaining that their absence was due to unforeseen issues regarding fuel availability.<\/p>\n

\u201cDear Fans and Stakeholders, we would like to extend our heartfelt apologies to all stakeholders, fans, and everyone who was looking forward to seeing Kelvin Momo perform at the Mamalisa event in Polokwane,\u201d the statement stated.<\/p>\n

They elaborated on the attempts made to acquire diesel prior to the event, which included several trips to different petrol stations, but ultimately, their efforts were in vain.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, Kelvin Momo was unable to attend due to unforeseen fuel shortages. Despite the efforts made by him and his team, who visited multiple petrol stations, they were unable to secure diesel in time and ultimately had to make the difficult decision to return home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Organizers of the event also expressed their regrets, assuring attendees that plans to reschedule the DJ’s performance are underway.<\/p>\n

While some understanding was afforded to the explanation, the increasing number of no-shows has begun to attract attention within the music industry, and Dhlomo\u2019s remarks underscore the stakes when artists do not fulfill their engagements.<\/p>\n
