However, the final product masks a narrative of enduring creativity, late additions, and a collaborative team dynamic that required balancing vision and adaptability. Nhlanhla \u201cNivo\u201d Ndimande, who was the executive producer alongside Lowfeye under the NOSANGE Ent\/MODAR label, recently recounted the amusing and intense journey of carefully selecting the album’s tracks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat made the whole process tough was that, once the whole project was done, and then we decided on this is what Days Before Nosange was going to be, this man (Lowfeye) sent five more songs,\u201d<\/em> Nivo recounted. \u201cSo we had to start the process again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The pre-album EP Days Before Nosange, which came out in January 2026, was intended to create buzz with its seven tracks, featuring collaborations like \u201cBags On Bags\u201d with Priddy Ugly. However, Lowfeye\u2019s creative inspiration was insatiable. New tracks kept arriving, prompting the team to revisit their initial choices repeatedly.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then after that, we decided as a team we are going to ignore him,\u201d<\/em> Nivo continued with a chuckle. \u201cSo we kept sending more music. And I think it was two weeks ago his music came out. I was like, no ways, we\u2019re not changing this thing. He played it, and we were all like, \u201d Hey, sharp, it\u2019s fine, we\u2019ll take it off.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The frequent revisions ultimately enhanced the 14-track album, which begins with the introspective \u201c40k Feet (Intro)\u201d and features notable tracks such as \u201cMission Man,\u201d \u201cMabulala Amakhosi,\u201d and \u201cNosange.\u201d Nivo characterized the process as both rigorous and immensely gratifying, attributing the success to Lowfeye\u2019s distinctive diligence.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was a fun process for us, and just purely because you know it\u2019s not every day you find an artist who works as hard as Lowfeye,\u201d<\/em> he expressed. \u201cThis guy works really hard, and he knows exactly what he wants. And his favourite words are always \u2018Trust me Biggest Nivo\u2019.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Lowfeye infused his personal journey into Nosange, featuring dedications to his late mother, after whom the album is named. The project combines hip-hop with soulful elements and includes both solo tracks and guest features, reflecting his evolution from previous works like Mfana kaMakhulu and Imibuzo.<\/p>\n

Listeners have responded positively to the album\u2019s emotional depth and variety, with rapid streaming growth evident across platforms.
