Former Rockville <\/i>actor Siyabonga Shibe trended on social media on Sunday, 26 April 2026, after being targeted for drink spiking and theft.<\/p>\n

Known for recounting his past in previous interviews, Shibe has urged South Africans to exercise caution.<\/p>\n

Social media user @phislash disclosed on his X account<\/a> on Sunday, 26 April 2026, that his friends had also experienced a similar incident of drink spiking.<\/p>\n

“Former Uzalo <\/i>actor Siyabonga Shibe and his friends fell victim to drink spiking and theft of property to the value of R37 000 last night after sharing a table with some unknown women at a club in Johannesburg last night,” said the X user.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

TimesLIVE <\/i>reported that a night out turned troubling for the well-known actor after their beverages were allegedly tampered with at a venue in Bryanston, Johannesburg.<\/p>\n

Following the event, the former Sibongile & Dlaminis<\/i> actor filed a theft report with the local authorities, and police spokesperson Tintswalo Sibeko confirmed that the case was registered on 20 April.<\/p>\n

Shibe shared: \u201cWe should have taken all our things with us. Nowadays, it seems that\u2019s the way things must be done, because you can\u2019t trust anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
