Following Mother\u2019s Day, celebrated on 10 May, Thusi inquired of her followers who have lost their mothers how they commemorate the day. She disclosed that she honors her mother\u2019s sisters and occasionally visits her late mother\u2019s grave.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot to be a weirdo, but for everyone who doesn’t have a mother anymore in this realm, what do you guys do for Mother’s Day? Forget that you\u2019re a mother, like, I think about my mom when I’m around her grave. I’ll go and see it. I try and be great to her sister, and wish other mothers a Happy Mother’s Day,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The actress-turned-DJ also mentioned that Mother\u2019s Day lacks significance for her, prompting her to inquire about its real meaning.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a mother, I don’t feel very connected to the holiday. That’s weird, right? Let me know if it’s weird. But Mother’s Day is a little like Christmas to me. It’s like, oh, great. Is Mother’s Day for mothers or is it for people to celebrate their mothers?\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
