Witness The Funk Officially Parts Ways With Moshine. The South African music group Witness The Funk (WTF) has formally disclosed its decision to part ways with member Nhlakanipho Shongwe, better known as Moshine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a statement released to fans and others within the industry, the group confirmed that the departure is final, stating that the two parties are \u201cno longer affiliated in any capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The collective indicated that this choice was made after careful consideration, noting that considerable time, effort, and opportunities were devoted to preserving the collaboration.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe gave everything we had on our end \u2014 time, effort, chances, and grace \u2014 but despite our best efforts, it simply did not work out,\u201d<\/em> the statement noted.<\/p>\n

Though this announcement may catch fans off guard, many of whom had a strong association with Moshine, Witness The Funk<\/a> recognized the deep connection built over the years. Nevertheless, the group stated their intention to move ahead independently now.<\/p>\n

The announcement also stressed to promoters, publications, bookers, and others in the entertainment sector that Moshine\u2019s name should no longer be associated with the Witness The Funk brand in upcoming bookings, promotions, events, or media coverage.<\/p>\n

While the split appears to be permanent, Witness The Funk maintained that there is no animosity between the individuals. The collective extended their best wishes to Moshine for his future endeavors, hoping that \u201cthe road ahead brings him everything he\u2019s working toward.\u201d<\/p>\n
