On July 22, 2026, a user on X, @Tidoo_Wax, posted a screenshot that appeared to be a chat between an event organiser and an individual listed as “Scotts Maphuma Bo…” \u2014 likely a representative handling bookings for the Amapiano musician. The conversation includes a request for the artist’s name, venue, date, and budget for the event.<\/p>\n

What is Scotts Maphuma’s booking fee?<\/h2>\n

The organiser indicated a budget of R30,000 to R40,000 for an event scheduled in September, only to discover the artist was unavailable at that price. In an effort to accommodate the star, they increased the offer to R45,000. The reply they received was straightforward.<\/p>\n

“Ah, my brother, that’s low. He charges R150K,” the bookings representative replied.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Surprised, the organiser inquired if the R150,000 rate was applicable to indoor events, to which they received confirmation: “Yes, my brother.”<\/i><\/p>\n
