Andoni Iraola marked his debut as Liverpool manager with a victory, as the team rallied to overcome Sunderland 4-2 in their initial pre-season match during the summer tour in the United States, according to Softfootball.<\/p>\n

Liverpool began strongly in the sweltering conditions of Nashville, taking the lead in the 13th minute when young player Kieran Morrison finished a well-executed team play with the first goal. Nevertheless, Sunderland answered back effectively, going into halftime with a 2-1 lead by capitalizing on Liverpool\u2019s defensive errors.<\/p>\n

The outcome offered ample optimism for Liverpool’s fans, as the squad’s attacking flair and energy hinted at positive developments under their new coach. Morrison and a number of other youth players took advantage of the opportunity to shine during the friendly encounter.<\/p>\n
