Nciweni seems to be unfazed. On Thursday, 30 July 2026, the influencer shared a casual, selfie-style video on X, displaying her comfortably going about her routine at home. Mzansi reacted vigorously to her post.

The video was shot indoors, featuring a grey couch adorned with wall art and a kitchen in view, portraying a relaxed, fashion-forward atmosphere. Nciweni’s message was concise, stating “suk’utheth’ezam uyeke ezakho” — a Zulu expression that translates to “stay out of my business and mind your own.” The timing of this statement was particularly significant.

This post followed closely on the heels of Hazel Kotu’s appearance on the Engineer Your Life podcast on 28 July 2026, where she made detailed accusations about her boyfriend Thendo Zonzo’s purported affair with Nciweni. The couple has since separated.

Kotu provided a narrative that was at odds with Nciweni’s portrayal. Following a viral video from 16 July that depicted Nciweni and Zonzo sharing a kiss at a nightclub, Nciweni asserted that the encounter was an impulsive kiss with someone she hardly knew. Kotu strongly countered this assertion.

“He paid for your flight, he paid for your room, you were in his car, he took you to the club, you were drinking his alcohol — he was your man that night,” Kotu articulated on the podcast, suggesting that the supposed affair was far more intentional than Nciweni had claimed.
