South African R&B artist Elaine has collaborated once more with the acclaimed duo Major League DJz for their latest single, “One More Dance,” featuring esteemed producers Atmos Blaq and Mpho.wav. This release comes with an official music video and offers a track that blends various genres, perfect for dance environments and personal playlists.

The song is anchored in an engaging Afro-electronic soundscape, characterized by rich synths and catchy beats. One More Dance evokes the desire for a perfect night to linger, as Elaine’s smooth vocals complement the vibrant production, creating an emotional yet elevating track that merges modern R&B with the diverse elements of African electronic music.

“‘One More Dance’ hits different,” states Elaine. “It’s that feeling when the night is perfect and you already know you’re going to miss it before it’s even ends. We wanted to bottle that emotion into a record. It’s about not wanting a good thing to end, and I think everyone can relate to that.”

This collaboration represents another significant chapter in Elaine’s evolving presence in South Africa’s dance music landscape. Earlier this year, she displayed her range on Skyla Tylaa’sVele Uyena with JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela, and One More Dance also marks a reunion with Major League DJz following their successful joint effort in 2023, All Night Long, which featured Yumbs. That track achieved a noteworthy position, climbing to No. 1 on South Africa’s national radio airplay chart.

For Major League DJz, this release supports their goal of introducing African music to a worldwide audience. The inclusion of Atmos Blaq and Mpho.wav enhances the track with rich Afro-house and electronic elements, making it fitting for festivals, nightlife, evening drives, and personal listening experiences.

Born Ndivhuwo Elaine Mukheli in Pretoria, Elaine has emerged as one of Africa’s most prominent artists. Her debut project, Elements, achieved platinum status, becoming the first independently released album by a female artist to top the Apple Music Sub-Saharan Africa chart.

Her ascent continues with notable accomplishments, including opening for Chris Brown’s South African tour in 2024, which attracted crowds of over 90,000, appearing on the covers of Glamour South Africa and GQ South Africa Digital, and showcasing African artistry at international platforms like Mugler’s New York Fashion Week launch.

With One More Dance, Elaine once again demonstrates that her artistic expression transcends limitations. Alongside Major League DJz, Atmos Blaq, and Mpho.wav, she offers a mesmerizing blend of storytelling and contemporary African dance music, sure to strike a chord with audiences across the continent and beyond.
