Juventus have concluded their efforts to sign Emiliano \u201cDibu\u201d Mart\u00ednez after negotiations with the Aston Villa goalkeeper’s representatives did not yield an agreement on the transfer fee.<\/p>\n

The Italian club engaged in talks with Mart\u00ednez’s camp on Sunday evening, but the discussions have now reached an impasse.<\/p>\n

Juventus found Aston Villa’s asking price to be excessive and opted not to move forward with the Argentina international.<\/p>\n

As a result, Juventus is now shifting their focus to Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as they seek a new option in goal.<\/p>\n

Softfootball indicated two days ago that discussions between Juventus and Mart\u00ednez were not progressed significantly after their meetings.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa is now in the process of completing a deal with Parma for approximately \u20ac35 million, and the goalkeeper is anticipated to undergo a medical examination once the final steps are finalized.<\/p>\n

Juventus evaluated various goalkeeper options while also considering Mart\u00ednez’s recent injury concerns from the World Cup.<\/p>\n

This latest turn of events effectively concludes Juventus’ interest in the 33-year-old, as their attention has now shifted entirely to Vicario.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
