Ntathu Zungu has taken on the title of the unofficial social media correspondent after discovering a Radio 702 microphone pop filter in an undisclosed spot.

Zungu creatively employs the filter to ‘interview’ various animals including chickens, dogs, and cows within her neighborhood, as well as local residents, about the ‘unbiased, fair, and independent news’ pertaining to them.

In her most recent clip, she conducts an interview with a stray dog, inquiring whether the Zulu proverb, which translates to: ‘a dog will finish its water with a tongue’, holds any truth.

Sporting a burgundy dress paired with heels, the ‘reporter’ chases after her hesitant interviewee as the dog tries to escape.

Zungu was featured in a conversation with Clement Manyathela on the radio station, who inquired about the location where she found the filter. She instead challenged 702 to guess the place of her discovery, which could potentially be Cape Town, Johannesburg, or KwaZulu-Natal, the three regions where she operates.

@talkradio702 Twinkle twinkle little star @Ntathu Zungu has wandered 🪄 into our studio with Clement Manyathela. Our preliminary investigation points out that she might have not stumbled upon our mic pop filter 🎙️ in KwaZulu-Natal but in one of the two other provinces she frequents.
