Blogger and social media figure Inno Morolong ignited controversy after calling out radio host Lerato Kganyago and her husband, entrepreneur Thami Ndlala. The situation escalated quickly after Inno’s posts were shared on X, resulting in widespread reactions from South Africa.

As detailed in posts shared by X user Cebe_Lihle23 and originating from thepopcornroomrsa, Inno disclosed that she had been contacted in the early hours, pressured to delete articles about the couple from her blog. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the demands, criticizing the treatment of her independent platform as being akin to a ‘spaza shop.’

Inno’s Assistance to Lerato

Adding tension to the matter, Inno claimed that she had gone above and beyond to aid Lerato in the past. She stated that she had set up a three-way conversation with blogger Musa Khawula, lasting half an hour, to persuade him to refrain from spreading negative stories about the radio figure. Neither Lerato Kganyago nor Thami Ndlala had publicly addressed Inno’s allegations as the discussions circulated online.
