The beatmaker, who has achieved Gold status twice, recently expressed his thoughts on social media regarding the understated manner in which many producers promote their work. As noted by KaizerBeatZ, it’s common for producers to announce their new placements sparingly before stepping back from the conversation entirely, which he believes undermines the effort of those involved behind the scenes.

“I still don’t understand why most producers act ‘too cool’ or nonchalant about promoting their work,” he noted. “You’ll find them posting once or twice about a song they produced, then go back into hiding afterwards. Bro, I always send out thousands of beats every year to different artists and when they end up releasing a song that I produced, I will not miss out on an opportunity to let people know who produced that song.”

For KaizerBeatZ, promoting his production credits is a means to ensure that the creators of music receive the acknowledgment they deserve, rather than an attempt to grab attention.

Though some people may see his frequent tagging of artists and reminders of his contributions as excessive, KaizerBeatZ remains unfazed by such critiques. His belief is clear: if his work can inspire, it ought to be shared widely.

“You will find others who actually like what you do and get motivated by it. We pour our hearts and souls into these beats. I don’t mind making thousands of posts saying ‘A SONG PRODUCED BY KAIZERBEATZ,’” he elaborated.

The Pretoria-based producer has consistently adhered to this philosophy throughout his career, working with prominent figures in South African hip-hop such as Touchline, A-Reece, and Cassper Nyovest, in addition to more recent collaborations with PdotO, Lowfeye, and Mochen.

His production credits include Touchline’s Gold-certified hits like “I’ll Always Have Me” and the Before I Say More 2 EP, along with A-Reece’s “Sweatshop Freestyle,” which earned accolades on Apple Music’s Best Songs of 2025. He also worked on Cassper Nyovest’s “Guess Who’s Back,” solidifying his position in the local rap scene.

KaizerBeatZ’s bold promotional tactics have elicited playful remarks from fans and music enthusiasts. During the promotion of “Sweatshop Freestyle,” a listener quipped that the producer seemed to be spreading the word about the track more vigorously than the artist was for the whole project.

Instead of taking offense, KaizerBeatZ welcomed the comment, emphasizing the effort that went into ensuring the record was well-released and mixed.

His approach contrasts with the conventional notion of producers remaining in the shadows, quietly supporting the artists. KaizerBeatZ aims to ensure that audiences recognize the contributors who help shape the music they enjoy, and he is ready to make his presence known repeatedly.

With countless beats being sent to various artists each year, and an ever-growing list of credits to his name, KaizerBeatZ sees no reason to reduce the visibility of his contributions.

In his view, every placement signifies a success worthy of celebration. And if that translates to filling social media feeds with the phrase “A SONG PRODUCED BY KAIZERBEATZ,” he is more than willing to continue doing so.
