Notable songs include “Keep Love Young,” “Snapdatshit (Remix),” “Ngiyakhumbula,” “KLYMAX reup,” “Scrrr Pull Up (Remix),” “Too Much (feat. This milestone holds extra meaning, as it embodies KLY’s artistic ethos. His “Keep Love Young” mantra has been central to his work, from the KLYMAX EP and its re-release to his album Keep Love Young released in 2018.

Throughout his career, KLY has carved out a unique sonic space, blending fervent vocals, African soundscapes, and trap-soul production. His style has drawn parallels to global artists like Drake, PartyNextDoor, and Bryson Tiller, while his work has led to collaborations with prominent figures such as the late Riky Rick, DJ Maphorisa, Wizkid, Patoranking, Emtee, and Mafikizolo.

Before gaining recognition as a recording artist, KLY’s entertainment career included work as a dancer; he notably performed during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and was a member of the krump crew known as 300cru.

His latest releases continue to explore the emotive layers of his artistry. The isiZulu track “Ngiyakhumbula,” which translates to “I Remember,” delves into themes of love and reflection, further enriching his musical repertoire.

Achieving 50,000 monthly listeners marks a significant point in KLY’s artistic growth as he broadens his reach in South Africa and beyond. Rather than merely acknowledging the number, the artist used this occasion to highlight the vital support from his fans, which is central to his journey.

Looking ahead to an upcoming performance on September 4 at Hard Rock Cafe Johannesburg in Sandton, KLY remains focused on his musical trajectory.

For an artist whose name embodies the ethos of nurturing love, this latest milestone serves as another testament to the bond shared between KLY and the loyal listeners who continue to engage with his work.
