Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 runner-up Thandeka Tshabalala has had enough. On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, she used X to speak about what she termed a persistent effort to uncover private details regarding her life, indicating that legal measures may follow.

Thandeka explained that unidentified individuals had been contacting her family and friends through private numbers, tempting them with money for personal insights. The calls reportedly occurred throughout the day, leading some of her loved ones to feel apprehensive about answering unrecognized numbers. Queries raised to those in her circle reportedly involved suggestive matters such as, “Have you never betrayed a friend?”—an indication of an attempt to create discord among her supporters.

Thandeka warns of legal action regarding privacy invasion

Responding to critics who labeled her as “easily rage-baited” and “erratic,” Thandeka clarified her stance. She noted that some of her recent public communications were strategic moves shared intentionally to track the flow of information and gauge the attention it received. This clarification is significant, as her posts had attracted scrutiny following her publication of images and videos of her Italian ex-boyfriends in light of allegations that she was still wedded to one of them.

“What you perceive as a reaction is often a calculated response to something you have no visibility into,” she wrote. “I know exactly what I’m doing.”

She then issued a strong warning: that no one would be permitted to investigate her personal life through her close contacts, purchase access to her information, or reveal details prematurely. She confirmed she will pursue legal action against anyone violating those boundaries moving forward.

Followers shared a mix of opinions regarding Thandeka’s response to the ongoing situation. Here are some reactions:

@NtombikayiseBa6 resonated:

“Going as far as trying to bribe people for private information about someone you know from a TV show is mental illness. I would never understand why people keep up with people they don’t even like. Yoh! Ai bandla. I’m defeated 😔”

@blessingma82997 commented:

“It was better when no one knew anything about you. Now you’re just like Londie to me. Posting various men while in a relationship just to make a point is so low. I liked it when everyone could only guess. Yho”

@Sdudla_33 remarked:

“You could have taken legal measures from the start. You will never convince those who already dislike you. This isn’t a ‘one step ahead’ move; you’re falling for every trap set against you.”

@kuhle_0N suggested:

“You may not be attracting brands, but you’re definitely getting Elon’s attention. I’ll give you that, queen😭💎”

@Matodziee advised:

“You could have simply ignored this. It’s nothing new in the BB community. Imagining posting all your ex-boyfriends because of a stranger. I know you like to have the last word, but sometimes it’s best to just ignore foolish people with no lives.”
