Bayern Munich has issued a clear statement to Liverpool and Real Madrid regarding their stance on Michael Olise, affirming that the winger is not available for transfer, irrespective of any financial offers from either club.

Max Eberl, Bayern’s sporting director, emphasized that the Bundesliga champions have no intention of parting ways with their talented forward, stating they “don’t have to waver, no matter the sum.”

Currently, Olise has a contract with Bayern that extends until 2029, and his deal does not include a release clause, granting the club significant authority over his future movements.

The club is also looking to start discussions about a new contract, seeking to gain clarity on the 24-year-old’s intentions by the summer.

After an impressive 2025/26 season that showcased his talent, Olise has emerged as a top target among clubs in Europe. He has also been notable in his appearances for the French national team.

During the recent season, the winger achieved 22 goals and 31 assists, reinforcing his status as one of the top right-wingers globally, which has understandably attracted the attention of major European teams.

Liverpool is notably interested in Olise as they explore their future options for right-wing positions, especially as they prepare for a transition following Mohamed Salah’s eventual departure.

Similarly, Real Madrid has been keeping an eye on him as they seek to bolster a position that has seen various temporary solutions in recent years.

At one point, Olise was speculated to be the player Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had in mind for a bid during his re-election campaign. However, no formal offer was made after Bayern communicated they would not consider selling him.

Softfootball reported in July 2026 that Real Madrid had confirmed their intention to respect Bayern’s position by stating they would not pursue Olise without the club’s consent.

Pérez continues to admire Olise’s skills, but Real Madrid reportedly has no intention of jeopardizing their strong relationship with Bayern by attempting to force a move.

This viewpoint is particularly significant now, as Bayern has reiterated their position on the matter.

Eberl’s latest remarks indicate that even a substantial offer would not persuade Bayern to engage in transfer discussions. Reports suggest Liverpool might consider an offer exceeding £100 million, but the German club is under no obligation to part with a player who remains vital to their operations.

Bayern’s focus remains on keeping Olise and possibly enhancing his contract while also gauging the player’s commitment to continuing his career in Munich.

For both Liverpool and Real Madrid, the message is clear: any potential transfer will depend on Bayern’s willingness to negotiate.

With Olise under contract until 2029 and no release clause in place for interested parties, Bayern finds itself in a strong position. Unless Olise himself indicates a desire to leave, the Bundesliga champions appear set on retaining one of Europe’s leading attacking talents.
