Podcast host Ngizwe Mchunu has received backlash on social media following a clip from the Bhinca Nation show that became widely shared on X. In the footage, Ngizwe seemingly ridicules anti-illegal immigration advocate Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma for not receiving a car, which he presents as playful banter.

The video, posted by @NgizweMchunnu on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, is from the Bhinca Nation episode that aired on YouTube the previous day. An on-screen caption states “Ngizwe Mchunu making fun of Jacinta because she didn’t get a car,” using shocked face and hooded figure emojis to portray a humorous context typical of viral content.

Public Reaction to Ngizwe Mchunu’s Remarks on Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma

The footage, filmed in a podcast studio featuring blue accent walls and a patterned rug, shows three guests seated around microphones. Although the atmosphere in the video seems light-hearted, many viewers found the mockery inappropriate.

Reactions flooded in from South Africans outraged by what they perceived as unnecessary ridicule, especially considering Jacinta’s involvement in the March and March anti-illegal immigration movement.

@AdvocateCab commented, tagging Sol Phenduka:

“You were wondering why the Bhinca nation isn’t doing well. There you have it! We can waste our time watching a grown man make fun of a woman, a woman that wanted to change South Africa. Get rid of Ngizwe and his co-host.”

@LibraYono defended Jacinta:

“She doesn’t need a donated vehicle. The vehicle she rides in costs more than both cars gifted to Ngizwe and Phakelumthakathi.”

@MissKreNative provided a pointed critique:

“J would be far if she didn’t associate with these men.”

@der_pinky noted the discomfort in the studio:

“Sbindi seem so uncomfortable.”

@Zamangethe_PR was candid about the remarks:

“Annoying behaviour kubab omdala.”

This incident has spurred discussions about the direction of the Bhinca Nation platform, with critics suggesting that the mockery of a woman who has become a notable figure in the anti-illegal immigration movement in South Africa reflects poorly on the show’s image.
