Cassper Nyovest may have inadvertently disclosed that he watches Podcast and Chill, prompting Sol Phenduka to respond after fans recognized his slip.

On 10 October 2026, the rapper reacted to MacG’s claim that his alcohol venture, Billiato, had underperformed in the industry. Cassper asserted that the brand had achieved better success than many realized. When fans asked for actual sales figures to support his claim, he refrained from providing them, offering a rationale that raised eyebrows.

Cassper Nyovest’s joke revealed more

Instead of providing concrete evidence, Cassper joked that disclosing Billiato’s sales figures would only lead to accusations of witchcraft at an early hour. This comment referenced statements made by businessman Benjamin “Benjy” Maponya during an episode of Podcast and Chill, where he accused mining executive Solomon “MySol” Madibela.

The joke was not vague—its specificity indicated that anyone familiar with the episode would easily recognize it.

This recognition contributed to the stir. While many see Cassper as someone who does not appreciate the Podcast and Chill platform, his knowledge of the show suggested otherwise.

Sol Phenduka reiterates a common sentiment

Sol Phenduka addressed Cassper’s comment after a fan pointed it out. His response was straightforward.

“Yes. Majority of ‘celebrities’ watch the podcast; many secretly love it.”

Phenduka’s comment frames Cassper’s revelation not as an isolated case but as indicative of a wider trend, hinting that many noted critics of the show are also among its hidden viewers.

The context adds to the significance. Previously, Cassper had stated he would not appear on Podcast and Chill, and while he did not openly say he avoided watching it, his public disagreements with both Sol and MacG led many to presume he did not engage with their content at all. His recent post about Billiato suggested a different narrative.

Responses to the discussion ranged from humor to lighthearted teasing, with many suggesting that the rapper is a secret fan of the show he has distanced himself from.
