The countdown to the Miss South Africa 2026 pageant is reaching a thrilling climax, marked by significant updates regarding the panel of judges, presenters, and entertainment for the eagerly awaited grand finale.

Prominent legal figure Madonsela has been appointed as a member of the five-person judging panel responsible for selecting the country’s upcoming representative on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Madonsela’s vast legal knowledge and dedication to serving the public will greatly benefit the panel.

She will be joined by former Miss South Africa 2023 Natasha Vermaak, well-known media figure and physician Dr. Musa Mthombeni, along with Pumla Molope, who is the president of African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA).

This varied panel effectively integrates expertise from the realms of law, healthcare, finance, and entertainment.

Their selection resonates with the Miss South Africa Organisation’s contemporary emphasis on leadership, intellect, and advocacy, as opposed to solely valuing classic beauty pageant standards.

Leading the audience through this historic evening will be renowned TV host Lawrence Maleka and former Miss South Africa and now veteran broadcaster Jo-Ann Strauss.

The festivities will commence with Kuhle Adams and Katleho Sinivasan managing the official red carpet, greeting distinguished guests and capturing high-fashion entrances.

The creative theme for the 2026 finale is “From Imbokodo to Diamond.”

The production aims to celebrate the historical strength, tenacity, and contributions of South African women, using the diamond as a symbol of brilliance created through adversity.

The entertainment offerings align perfectly with this ambitious mission.

Alongside the already confirmed Ndlovu Youth Choir, Amapiano sensation Young Stunna and the Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform, promising an extraordinary blend of choral traditions, modern street vibes, and orchestral grandeur.

These announcements unfold alongside the launch of The Mandate, a premium seven-part documentary series spotlighting the Top 19 contestants.

This docu-series steers clear of typical competitive drama, instead showcasing leadership as a service, civic engagement, and entrepreneurial ambitions among a fresh wave of African women.

Through its core social initiative, Empower Youth Africa (EYA), this organization emphasizes that although only one woman will receive the actual crown, all 12 finalists are being empowered to create avenues for economic and social advancement for youth throughout the continent.
