Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth was showered with heartfelt birthday messages from his wife, Anlia Etzebeth, and his close companion and Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. Both took to social media to honor the rugby icon on his special day, 29 October.

Anlia celebrated her husband’s birthday with a touching compilation of intimate and loving videos posted on Instagram, providing followers with a look into their deep connection and the love they share.

This poignant collection showcased tender moments between the couple, emphasizing the affection and friendship at the heart of their marriage.

Accompanying the video montage, Anlia affectionately referred to Eben as her “amazing man“, “best pal” (best friend), and “beste pappa” (best father), a moving tribute that honored their romantic bond while celebrating his role as a dedicated father.

The couple frequently share snapshots of their family life with their audience, deftly managing demanding and successful careers.

While Eben continues to shine on the rugby field, Anlia has carved out her own successful career as a chart-topping singer, actress, and presenter. Together, they often provide fans with insights into the private moments that exist beyond their public personas.

Their recent birthday festivities served as yet another reminder that despite the challenges and the rigorous commitments of professional sports, family is a vital aspect of the Springbok star’s life, establishing true relationship goals.

Eben’s wife was not the only one ensuring the rugby star felt appreciated on his special day.

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi also shared a heartfelt video tribute dedicated to his friend, along with a message that underscored their strong bond.

“Happy birthday my brother. One of the few ones I’m not with you. Love you my brother, enjoy it and I know the family will make it special,” Kolisi wrote.

This message reflects the friendship between the two rugby athletes, which extends beyond their roles as teammates in the green and gold. They frequently post content together and create videos filled with humor.

As fellow Springboks, both have undergone the pressures and victories of representing South Africa at the international level. Their companionship is apparent off the field, with both sharing joyful moments throughout the years.

Kolisi’s birthday message is especially meaningful as he noted that, unlike many occasions, he wouldn’t be celebrating alongside his friend in person this time.

Rather, he conveyed his warm wishes from a distance, stating his love for Eben and trusting that Anlia and the family would make the day unforgettable.

With Anlia’s romantic video montage and Kolisi’s heartfelt greeting, Eben’s birthday evolved into a tribute to the relationships he cherishes most.
