Soon after the delivery, Shozi shared glimpses from her exclusive hospital suite, intricately decorated to offer a glamorous Instagram setting complete with pink balloons and designer floral displays. She humorously referred to her “birth plan,” which included enjoying a sushi boat alongside Blanc de Blancs champagne right after giving birth. In her updates, she also revealed that her partner surprised her with a Hermès Birkin bag as a “push present.”

The couple’s relationship progressed rapidly through significant life events in 2026. Magura proposed to her on a boat in Lake Como, Italy, close to Shozi’s birthday in April. They subsequently celebrated a traditional lobola ceremony in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. Speculations about Shozi’s pregnancy, which had been circulating since her birthday, were confirmed in early October through a visually creative photoshoot showcasing her baby bump and pink paint.

Public Reactions and Context

While much of the media attention and public reactions revolved around congratulating the new parents and the extravagant details that accompany Shozi’s social media updates, some online critics focused on the fact that she was seen having alcohol shortly after childbirth. Certain users even investigated whether the champagne brand had a non-alcoholic variant to back up their concerns.

This idyllic portrayal comes in the wake of previously publicized co-parenting challenges that prompted Shozi to share a TikTok addressing issues related to child support, where she referred to a long-standing situation and described some individuals as “absolute deadbeats,” emphasizing that raising her daughters is her “ministry.”

Speculations among fans linked her comments to Mpisane, the father of Florence and Coco. He subsequently issued a rebuttal asserting his involvement as a father, stating that he does support their education and well-being, claiming that his access to the children had been restricted at times. This occurred despite the fact that Shozi had not named anyone specifically in her comments.
