Chidimma Adetshina is contemplating her tough choice to withdraw from the Miss SA competition due to anticipated public criticism regarding her identity. This development follows reports that she has severed ties with the Miss Universe Nigeria organizers .<\/p>\n

In an unexpected twist, the beauty queen and mother transitioned from representing South Africa to Nigeria within a matter of weeks.<\/p>\n

Chidimma has origins that trace back to a Malawian mother and a Nigerian father. Earlier this year, her mother faced arrest when the Department of Home Affairs uncovered identity fraud during the registration of her daughter’s birth.<\/p>\n

CHIDIMMA ADETSHINA REFLECTS ON STEPPING DOWN FROM MISS SA<\/h2>\n

On Sunday, August 10, Chidimma Adetshina took to Instagram Stories to reminisce about the day Mia Le Roux was crowned Miss SA a year ago. This event also served as a reminder of her own exit amidst significant public outcry.<\/p>\n

She stated: \u201cLast year, this day, my dreams were shattered right in front of my eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, she remarked: \u201cBut, I\u2019m also grateful for this journey\u201d.<\/p>\n

Just prior to the grand finale, Chidimma declared her exit from the competition. In her announcement, she expressed: \u201cBeing part of the Miss South Africa 2024 competition has been an amazing journey. However, after much careful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from the competition for the safety and well-being of my family and me.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the support of the Miss South Africa organisation, I leave with a heart full of gratitude for this amazing experience.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She also mentioned: \u201cWhoever wears the crown represents us all\u201d.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, Chidimma was invited to step in as a last-minute finalist at the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she won on August 31.<\/p>\n

A few months later, she proudly claimed the title of Miss Universe runner-up in Mexico.<\/p>\n

DRAMA WITH MISS UNIVERSE NIGERIA?<\/h3>\n

Meanwhile, speculation is circulating that Chidimma has had a falling out with the Miss Universe Nigeria organizers.<\/p>\n

The beauty, hailing from South Africa, has unfollowed the official pageant account and informed her audience that she will be absent from the 2025 event scheduled for later this month.<\/p>\n

Chidimma insinuated that the Miss Universe Nigeria organizers abandoned her shortly after she received her crown.<\/p>\n
