Zingah Supports K.Keed During Freestyle Controversy On DJ Speedsta’s Show. The ongoing debate regarding K.Keed’s choice to skip a freestyle on DJ Speedsta’s platform has prompted another voice from the music community—this time, it’s rapper and host Zingah.

Providing his insight, Zingah expressed that although discussions about artistry are significant, the way this situation played out has unfairly portrayed K.Keed.
“I feel like Speedsta was a bit unfair because that’s not really what the show is about. Has he met anybody else today, and why her? I feel like how that came out, she’s now kind of being placed as a poster boy for this idea that the new kids don’t wanna freestyle. And that’s unfair to K.Keed because she’s actually super talented, especially as a writer. So I don’t enjoy seeing her in that position,” said Zingah.
The discussion ignited this week when K.Keed chose not to perform a freestyle during the live broadcast, a choice that stirred a variety of reactions online. Some people viewed this as a refusal to participate in a fundamental aspect of hip-hop culture, while others contended that the genre has evolved beyond the necessity of spontaneous rhymes as a measure of ability.
Zingah’s support introduces another dimension to the conversation, redirecting the narrative from a specific performance to a wider acknowledgment of artistic merit. By highlighting K.Keed’s abilities as a writer, he emphasizes that talent in hip-hop should not be confined to traditional expectations.
