- YouTuber Slik Talk has criticized Makhadzi for filming herself in a hospital following a car crash on December 31
- He referred to her behavior as a bid to attract “sympathy streams,” arguing that it was odd to record herself just a day after the incident
- Many on social media supported Makhadzi and condemned Slik Talk’s comments, with some mentioning they found his voice irritating
Slik Talk, known for his outspoken commentary, has once again attracted attention after targeting Makhadzi, a celebrated musician from Limpopo.
Just days following her December 31, 2025 accident, Slik Talk uploaded a video accusing the singer of exaggerating her condition to increase her streams and win public support.
In the video shared on X by @ThisIsColbert, Slik Talk, who recently criticized Lasizwe, mocked Makhadzi for filming herself while “fighting for her life” in the hospital.
He raised questions about the legitimacy of her situation, implying it was a strategy to secure “sympathy streams” and support from her fanbase.
This controversy follows Makhadzi’s recovery in a Polokwane private hospital, where her representatives have stated she is stable but continues to be monitored.

Fans rally in support of Makhadzi
Social media reactions were swift, with numerous users criticizing Slik Talk for his lack of compassion.
One user, @NormaWaTwins, expressed:
“What exactly are you unhappy about my guy? Really, you sound very bitter and insensitive.”
@Iam_Nicholson added:
“This dude really likes yapping about a lot of nothings. The callers on those screenshots could be the ones who took those screenshots and sent them around. I don’t think Makhadzi is even thinking about streams or whatever that guy is claiming. Slik Talk gotta chill.”
Another user, @LeshabaMarvin, remarked:
“Ke screenshot sa video call mos. What’s this dude whining about?”
@PatCooker commented:
“This guy is annoying, yoh!”
@LivhuwaniPreci4 stated:
“Who told you she recorded herself? You are trying so hard to be relevant with your irritating voice. Man, relax.”
@Tebogo3442 told Slik Talk:
“Get a life, bro. That’s bitter.”
@RichUncleM offered this advice:
“I am trying to figure out what this has to do with him. Are we really starting 2026 with drama? In 2026, let’s normalize minding our own business.”
@Khutso_M14 noted:
“He either needs to do something about that voice or make his videos shorter. It’s one thing listening to the nonsense he utters and a whole lot another having to go through 1:45 minutes of such audio.”
However, a few individuals voiced support for Slik Talk, whose real name is Morena Setai:
@AmilcarDBaleni mentioned:
“I agree with him on many things.”
Another user, @Sir_Maredi, commented:
“He is right. But people will insult him, just as those who post their so-called loved ones after death. Where do people get the liver [audacity] to post their loved ones after death, saying R.I.P on socials?”
