- Blogger Musa Khawula is reportedly in trouble with the law once more.
- Sources indicate that Khawula has received a letter of demand regarding his defamatory remarks about another high-profile individual.
- This development follows his inclusion in the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, which revealed alarming information concerning his prior arrest.
Recent reports suggest that the polarizing figure is facing a potential new arrest, representing another chapter in his ongoing legal issues.
According to DailySUN, Khawula was issued a letter of demand concerning defaming remarks he made about Kabelo Rikhotso, the Chief Investment Officer of the Public Investment Corporation (PIC).
In a post made on social media on 16 February 2026, Khawula claimed that Rikhotso was involved in an affair with his co-worker, Lindiwe Dlamini. He referred to them as “work husband” and “work wife” and alleged that both were cheating on each other.
“Meet Lindiwe Dlamini, who done dated and discarded her husband for Kabelo Rikhotso. Lindiwe Dlamini is cheating on her ‘work’ husband whilst Kabelo Rikhotso is cheating on his ‘work’ wife at the Public Investment Corporation.”
In response, the legal representatives for Dlamini and Rikhotso stated that the claims were false and defamatory, asserting that Khawula lacked evidence to substantiate his allegations.
He received a letter of demand, requesting him to remove the post and associated statements from social media by 17 February, but he did not comply.
DailySUN further reports that the law firm DM5 Incorporated, representing Dlamini, Rikhotso, and the PIC, has been instructed to file an urgent interdict against Khawula, potentially seeking imprisonment if he continues to disregard the demand.
This situation is particularly challenging for Khawula. He is already under scrutiny at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, where details of his past arrest were discussed, and this new legal confrontation with a powerful corporate entity could significantly impact him.
Despite the gravity of the situation, he continues to post as if it is business as usual. How this latest controversy will unfold remains uncertain.
